5An Alkalizing Juice

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 stalks celery (Shalari, Randhuni)
  • 1 cucumber (Kheera)
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cup spinach (Palak)

Tip: Spinach provides a mild flavor. Try the juice without adding the carrot to keep sugar levels lower. If necessary, add in a small carrot for a sweeter taste.

4A Vegetable Juice

  • 2 stalks celery (Jalkumbhi)
  • 1 medium red pepper
  • ½ bunch cilantro (Hara Dhaniya)
  • 1 carrot
  • ½ cucumber (Kheera)
  • ½ fennel bulb
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 lime (squeeze into finished product)

3Vitamin B6 Juice

  • 10-12 brussels sprouts (Mini Bandgobhi)
  • 2 cups string beans (French Beans)
  • 1 cucumber (Kheera)
  • 1 lemon

Tip: Brussels sprouts and string beans are excellent source of B6, a vitamin that aids in blood sugar stabilization.

  • 6 sprigs watercress (Jalkumbhi)
  • 1 handful parsley (Ajmod)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 green apples

Tip: Apples, watercress and tomatoes all contain compounds that are effective at lowering LDL cholesterol levels.

  • 4 leaves kale (Gaadi Hari Gobhi)
  • 1 cucumber (Kheera)
  • 3 cups spinach (Palak)
  • 5 stalks celery (Shalari, Randhuni)
  • ½ bunch parsley (Ajmod)

Tip: The greens in this juice provide an energy boost, yet if it’s not sweet enough, add either a small organic green apple or an organic beet for flavor.
