We as humans are forgetful creatures. We rarely learn from our mistakes and rarely do we grow from our experiences. It is a given that in your past lives you have experienced death many number of times, but because of our lack of any recollection, we are still afraid of death or what it signifies i.e. attachment to this world or body.
